First edition of ''Ten Apples Up on Top!'' by Theo. LeSieg, a pen name of Dr. Seuss. Beginner Books: New York: 1961. The dustjacket of the easy-to-read book boasts that it uses a simple 75-word vocabulary to tell the story of three animals challenging each other to balance more and more apples on their heads. Book and dustjacket meet all first edition requirements. The 6.75'' x 9.25'' book in green cloth boards, with original unclipped dustjacket, is in very good condition. A scarce first printing title.
