Very early first edition of ''Green Eggs and Ham'' by Dr. Seuss. New York: Beginner Books: 1960. Hardcover book with original pictorial orange-red paper boards. First edition, with first issue dustjacket of Seuss' primer for beginning readers, includes the ''50 Word Vocabulary'' box pasted instead of printed on dustjacket. An excellent copy of the classic children's book with the oft-quoted verse, ''I do not like green eggs and ham...'' Dustjacket has minor chips and wear to corners, and one significant chip on spine. Very good condition.
