Faulkner pens in blue ink, ''William Faulkner'' upon the fly-leaf. Faulkner spent over a decade and tremendous effort on ''A Fable,'' considering it his masterpiece when it was completed. 437pp. novel measures 6'' x 9'' in original slipcase. Slight chipping and toning to rice paper dustjacket and some soiling and toning to the slipcase. Book itself is in near fine condition.
