''William Peter Blatty'' signed edition of ''The Exorcist,'' published by Easton Press: Norwalk: 1971. In blue ink, the author signs the fly-leaf of his haunting novel about the demonic possession of a young girl. Blatty won the Oscar for his 1973 screenplay adaptation of this disturbing tale. The film has since become one of the highest grossing pictures of all time. Bound in black leather boards with gilt lettering. All edges gilt, with salmon colored silk moire endpapers and a golden satin page marker. Runs 340pp. and measures 6'' x 9''. Fine.
