Rare ticket to the U.S. House proceedings for the impeachment trial of President Richard Nixon. Signed in facsimile by Speaker of the House Carl Albert, ticket ''admits bearer to the visitor's gallery'' for the planned date of 19 August 1974. Detachable stub along right side is still present. Nixon's ultimate resignation on 9 August nullified these tickets, which had already been printed. Ticket measures 5'' x 2.75''. Near fine condition.
