Morton writes to a member of the Union League Club of Philadelphia, ''...if not otherwise prevented, I should be pleased to avail myself of your kind invitation and join the member of your club in doing honor to the memory of General Grant...[signed] Levi P. Morton''. The card style letter measures 5'' x 7.75''. Light uniform toning and residue from previous mounting on verso. Overall in near fine condition.
