Famed English Egyptologist and journalist Arthur Weigall signs his name, ''A E Weigall'' in black ink to a letter that he also dates ''1.2.08''. The letter in Arabic concerns the need to ''...have exchanges with the home owners located in front of Temple of Luxor or buying them by expropriation in the future...'' Weigall signs this letter as Chief Archeologist for Upper Egypt Antiquities. Document measures 6.75'' x 8.25'' and has a punch hole to left side and staple marks atop. Very good. Full translation included.
