Incredible collection of 8 signatures of NASA astronauts who exemplify the era of space exploration. Four signatures are on placards displaying the astronauts' name in black marker, and each signs beneath his printed name: Apollo 8 astronaut ''Bill Anders'', Apollo 12 astronaut ''Alan Bean'', Gemini 9A, Apollo 10 and 12 astronaut ''Gene Cernan'', Apollo 1 ''Roger B. Chaffee'', who died with the crew during a pre-launch test. The remaining four signatures on autograph leafs are from the original Mercury Seven pilots, including ''Alan B. Sheppard Jr.'', ''M. Scott Carpenter'', ''Virgil I. Grissom'' (who also died tragically in Apollo 1) and ''Leroy G. Cooper, Jr.'' Placards measure 11'' x 3''; autograph leafs measure 5'' x 3.75''. Very good.
