Apollo 14 astronaut Stuart Roosa signed and inscribed postcard, postmarked 31 January 1971 from Kennedy Space Center, the day the mission launched. Roosa served as command module pilot from the Apollo 14 mission, the successful 8th NASA manned mission to the moon. Inscription reads: ''Best Wishes to Corinne Havunen / Stuart Roosa'' in blue ink. Postcard measures 5.5'' x 3.5'' with original 6-cent Eisenhower stamp intact. Front of postcard is not space related, as it depicts a horse. One staple at top middle, else near fine.
