American flag flown aboard NASA's 1977-78 Enterprise ''Approach and Landing Test'' mission, in which the space shuttle orbiter underwent a variety of ground and flight tests intended to validate aspects of the shuttle program. Flag measures 5.75'' x 4.25'' and is mounted to an official NASA certificate featuring an Approach and Landing Test patch. Signed by NASA official in June 1978, but with other crew's printed autographs. Framed to an overall size of 11.25'' x 14.25'', with very minor showthrough of adhesive beneath flag, else near fine.
