Frank Sinatra screen-worn cap as Colonel Joseph Ryan in the popular 1965 film ''Von Ryan's Express.'' Sinatra stars as an Allied POW who escapes with his cohorts. The cap was reportedly made by legendary Hollywood wardrobe house Western Costume. Army uniform replica woolen cap features a leather brim and band and metal eagle design. ''F. Sinatra - Col. Ryan'' is handwritten on the hatband within. Stamped within at crown, likely by Western Costume. Near fine. With provenance from Profiles in History.
