Metal fire poker used onscreen in the Academy Award-winning 1995 film ''Braveheart.'' Mel Gibson directed and starred in the 13th century historical drama, which was loosely based on Scottish leader William Wallace as he leads the war for independence from King Edward I of England. The metal poker has a fabric-wrapped handle and clear plastic tip wired to illuminate as if red-hot. Used by character Hamish's father when he is shot by an arrow, and the villagers all crowd around him to pull the arrow out and cauterize the wound with this poker. Measures 31''. With LOA from the film's special effects supervisor Nick Allder. Near fine.
