Pinstripe San Francisco Seals uniform from the 1946 season. The Seals were a minor league team and charter members of the Pacific Coast League which was founded in 1903. X-large jersey, numbered '9' on back features ''Seals'' sewn across chest in royal blue script, with ''The Hit of Any Season! / Ebbets Field Flannels / Historic Baseball Apparel / Made in the USA'' tag stitched to lower left portion. Pants have a Spalding tag and the size ''40'' sewn into waist inseam. The number ''17'' has been written in black marker of inseam, and additionally ''41-20''. Some staining to pant legs, presumably from game wear. Very good. From the Larry Jansen estate.
