Pristine Neil Armstrong first day cover signed. Front of cover features an illustration of the Eagle landing on the moon for the first time that momentous 20 July 1969 day that forever changed history. Here, Armstrong signs the cover beside the illustration "Neil Armstrong" in black ink. With two cancellations, a "Moon Landing Jul 20 1969 / USA" postmark and a 9 September 1969 postmark from Washington D.C. Also includes a "First Day of Issue" stamp and a "First Man on the Moon" 10 cent stamp. "Ditta Alberto Bolaffi / Via Roma, 101 / 10123 Torino" is stamped at lower right of FDC and verso of covers feature printed Italian: "Primo Uomo Sulla Luna", presumably as the Italian version of the First Day Cover. Cover measures 6.5" x 3.75" with minor toning, else near fine to fine condition. Additionally includes two identical first day covers autopenned by crew members Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. With original envelopes postmarked from Houston, 27 February 1970, 27 April 1970 and 15 December 1969, each addressed to a Mr. Zaetta Franco in Torino Italy. Excellent display piece.
