Dwight Eisenhower signs ''Ike'' as President to a letter typed on White House stationery dated 22 April 1960 to his brother Edgar, who wrote asking the President to vouch for his birth date to obtain a passport. Dwight responds, ''...Your trip sounds very interesting. Would you like me to get in touch with the ambassadors in the various countries you and Lucy will visit, or would you prefer that I do nothing to agitate the 'red carpet' treatment...'' A copy of Edgar's letter is included. Measures 6.75'' x 9''. Punch holes, else near fine.
