Legendary R & B and soul singer Lloyd Price 1963 boxing-style concert poster, measuring 14'' x 22''. Colorful poster advertises a show on Friday, 19 April 1963 by Lloyd, aka ''Mr. Personality'' and his 14 piece orchestra. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, Lloyd had a string of smash hits in the late 1950s and early 60s, including ''Lawdy Miss Clawdy'', ''Stagger Lee'' & ''Personality''. Printed by Globe Posters of Baltimore, poster measures 14'' x 22''. Some pitting to poster, nail hole at top center, light creasing, mild discoloration at top right, and contemporaneous writing at top. Overall very good condition with excellent display quality.
