Laura Ingalls Wilder signed brochure documenting her life and "Little House on the Prairie" series of stories. Brochure by Harper & Brothers provides a biography of Wilder's life, along with reviews of the books. In addition to her signature, "Laura Ingalls Wilder", Wilder adds some biographical updates to the brochure: She writes, "Almanzo [her husband] died October 23, 1949 / The farm is sold" and crosses out "in her seventies" referring to her age, replacing it with "84". She also writes next to a portrait of herself as a young woman, "17 years old". Four page brochure unfolds to a poster measuring 14" x 16.5", listing Wilder's books on the verso. Separation starting along a few of the folds, and one closed tear measuring 1", overall very good condition. Accompanied by original holograph envelope additionally signed by Wilder as "Mrs. A[lmanzo] J[ames] Wilder".
