Large collection of signatures by U.S. Cabinet secretaries, spanning the time period of 1849 to 2003, and including Secretaries from the Departments of the Interior, Commerce, Energy, Labor, Education, Health, Housing and Urban Development, Defense, Agriculture, and Transportation. Collection includes over 135 autographs, including signatures by Gabe Norton, Jacob Thompson, Alexander H.H. Stuart, Thomas M.T. McKennan, Thomas Ewing, Jacob D. Cox, James Harlan, Jeremiah McLain Rusk, John A. Volpe, William Cohen, George Romney, Marion B. Folsom, Abraham Ribicoff, T.H. Bell, James J. Davis, James Edwards, William C. Redfield, and Maurice H. Stans, among many others. Autographs are rendered in a variety of mediums, including signed letters, cards, documents, photos, and clipped signatures. Light wear to most, including some toning, foxing and mounting residue. Overall very good condition.
