King George III style silver two-handled cup and cover in urn form. Lower body is decorated with acanthus and leaf-tips; upper body embossed with fruit swags, matching pedestal foot and lid, and acanthus-capped scroll handles. With a Charles Wright, London, 1771 marking on body and cover. Measures 14.5'' in height x 5'' base and weighs 3 pounds, 14 oz or 1748g. Likely repaired where upper handles meet body, else near fine condition. Previously sold at Sotheby's in their April 2014 European Silver sale, lot 266 for $5,625.
