Jimmy Hoffa signed portrait, boldly penned in blue ballpoint, ''James R. Hoffa'' without inscription. Hoffa, of course, was the notorious Teamsters labor leader, known for his ties to organized crime which would ultimately be his undoing. His disappearance in 1975, attributed to a mafia hit, still remains unsolved. In recent years Hoffa's reputation as a fierce advocate for union rights has been reconsidered in a positive light. Glossy print of a pencil portrait sketch measures 8'' x 10''. Minor soiling near edges, overall very good plus condition. Accompanied by an 8'' x 10'' photo of a Teamsters convention where the print was acquired by a local Teamsters president.
