James Watson signed first edition of his book, ''DNA: The Secret of Life''. New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 2003. Signed on the title page, ''James Watson'' in black ballpoint, book is filled with photographs and diagrams of Watson's life, including his phenomenal discovery of DNA along with Francis Crick. Both men won the Nobel Prize in 1962 for their discovery. Book measures 7.75'' x 9.375'', housed in original dust jacket with ''Autographed'' sticker on front, over a lenticular image alternating from a DNA strand to a bee pollinating a flower. Both book and jacket are in near fine condition.
