Monroe awards 50 acres to Andrew Ellison, the assignee for Major Joseph Crockett, a military veteran who likely fought in the War of 1812. Vellum document measures 12'' x 15.5''. Folds and light wear, overall very good condition. Lot also includes a land grant from Martin Van Buren's administration.
