James Joyce's magnum opus ''Ulysses'', the first English edition limited to 2,000 copies, of which this is #389. Printed in Paris, France by John Rodker for London: The Egoist Press, 1922. Softbound copy in teal wrappers, here lacking the front wrapper and the first four blank pages, with book otherwise complete, including the four unbound errata leaves. Book measures 7'' x 9'', running 732pp. with page edges untrimmed as issued, and some uncut. Some chipping to leaves, with half-title page disbound. Some chipping to back wrapper and to worn spine. Overall a fair copy of a delicate book. Housed in navy blue clamshell case, and then in a larger custom teal leather slipcase, accented in gilt with ribbed spine. Slipcase measures 8'' x 10'' x 3''.
