Jackie Robinson twice-signed first edition, first printing of his book, ''Baseball Has Done It'', Robinson's account of being on the front lines of integrating major league baseball. Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott Co., 1964. Robinson signs the front free endpaper in blue fountain pen, ''Best wishes / Jackie Robinson'' and then additionally pens a lengthy inscription in blue ballpoint: ''To the Baruch's with thanks for the many years of friendship and relationship that has been rewarding and lasting. I am certain it will continue to grow. / Enjoy 'Baseball has Done It.' You both have been a part of it. With thanks. [?] Jackie''. Bound in publisher's cream boards with red lettering, book measures 5.5'' x 8.25''. Some foxing to boards and pastedowns, otherwise book is near fine. Some chipping and sunning to dust jacket, which has price of $2.95, overall very good.
