Jackie Kennedy Onassis autograph letter signed with amusing content regarding some purchases. Addressed to her Parisian housekeeper Eleni Syros, Jackie O composes the letter on her personal pale blue stationery with her address of 1040 Fifth Avenue embossed in gilt at top. Letter also includes Jackie's hand-addressed envelope to Eleni in Paris, in care of her husband ''A.S. ONASSIS''. Composed in blue ballpoint, letter is undated but envelope is postmarked 12 October 1972 from New York. Letter translated from French reads in full,
''Dear Eleni, Please order two more tortoiseshell platters (fake, plastic) from the Dior boutique - one big, one medium - and send them to New York once they are ready. / Also, Marcini will be sending you a pair of beige boots for me in two weeks - please send them, too, as fast as possible. / I hope that everything is well with you - thousand thanks / J. Onassis''. Letter measures 5.25'' x 7.5''. Two folds and light creasing, overall near fine.
