''The Dallas Times Herald'' from 22 November 1963, the day Kennedy was assassinated. A headline in giant typeface blares: ''PRESIDENT DEAD, CONNALLY SHOT''. This is an earlier edition of the ''Herald'' from that day. Though the article mentions a suspect was taken into police custody, Lee Harvey Oswald's name was not yet revealed. The issue printed later Friday evening identifies the suspect by name. The front page features a photograph of Kennedy greeting a throng of starstruck citizens at Love Field upon his arrival in Dallas, about an hour before his motorcade was attacked. This edition is datelined Dallas, Texas, Friday Evening, November 22, 1963. Complete 3 section paper. Light toning and a curved tear to the headline area, else near fine.
