''Memoirs by Harry S. Truman'' signed two-volume set. Both copies, ''Year of Decisions'' and ''Years of Trial and Hope'', are signed and inscribed by Truman: ''To Dr. Joseph Lago / from / Harry Truman''. Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Co., 1955 and 1956. Both volumes are bound in black cloth boards with blue and silver lettering, and top edges green. The date ''4/16/69'' is written to the bottom of both limitation pages and ''My regards to Dr. Joseph Lago'' is written to the dedication page of Vol. II. Both volumes are in very good condition with some toning, and the front hinge just starting to separate, with bindings of both still tight. Dust jackets have foxing (more to Vol. I) and some shelf wear. Overall a very good, presentable set.
