H.R. Giger limited edition of his classic art book, ''Biomechanics'', with the accompanying signed lithograph by Giger numbered 88 of 300 in the limited edition. Las Vegas: Morpheus International, 2005, 7th printing. Giger, who won an Academy Award for his creation of the eponymous ''Alien'' in Ridley Scott's 1979 film here includes 98pp. of his characteristic surreal and haunting artwork, with an introduction by Harlan Ellison, in part, ''Giger is working with primal materials, and his mission is to stand our hair on end...He is both question and answer. Enigma and revelation.'' Book measures 12'' x 17'', bound in black leather and housed in its custom black cloth slipcase. Near fine condition.
