Gus Grissom's personally owned Minivac 6010 computer, used by Grissom after he was selected as one of the Mercury Seven. The Minivac 6010 was released in 1962 by the Scientific Development Corporation, offering computer enthusiasts the ability to learn the basics of computer science. Measures approximately 23.25'' x 13'' x 6.5'', complete with additional cables and instruction manuals. A pencil doodle of connecting wires, almost certainly done by Grissom, appears on one of the sheets. The computer still turns on when plugged in, though not all switches have been tested for functionality. Very good to near fine condition. With Grissom family LOA.
