George Custer signed envelope, postmarked November 1868 from Washington. Envelope is addressed to ''Mrs. Genl. GA Custer'' at ''Fort Leavenworth Kansas'' with an additional ''Pen Courier / Nov. 21st'' in his hand. Envelope measures 5.5'' x 3'' with two original 3-cent stamps intact. Someone has written the year ''1868'' in pencil to notate the postmark. Minor toning and torn right edge from the removal of the letter, else very good.
