Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman twice-signed cabinet card, signed upon the front, "W.T. Sherman / General / 1888." and additionally signed upon the verso, "To Colonel D.B. Henderson / Dubuque Iowa, with compliments of / W.T. Sherman / General - / New York, Aug 14, 1888." Lot also includes two other cabinet cards signed and inscribed to Colonel D.B. Henderson, who served as Speaker of the House of Representatives during the McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt administrations; one of the cabinet cards is of General Francis B. Spinola, the other is Civil War veteran and Maine Congressman Charles A. Boutelle. Cards measure 4.25" x 6.5". Light wear to Sherman card at top left, overall very good condition.
