White House gavel, made of wood collected from the White House during its 1950 renovation when much of its interior was reconstructed. Gavel features the official restoration plaque reading, ''Original White House Material / Removed in 1950'', with the Great Seal of the United States at center. Measures approximately 11'' x 3.5''. Minor nicks and wear, overall very good to near fine condition.
