White House gavel, made of wood taken from the White House during its 1950 renovation when much of its interior was reconstructed. Gavel features a plaque reading, ''Original White House Material / Removed in 1950'', with the Great Seal of the United States at center. Measures approximately 10'' x 4'' with a 2.5'' diameter. Very good to near fine condition.
