Document signed by Bailly de Monthion, General under Napoleon. De Monthion, whose full name was Francois Gedeon Bailly de Monthion, was a count of the First French Empire. He signs the document in French, dated 27 April 1811 from Bayonne in southwestern France, ''Cte [Count] Monthion''. The 8'' x 11.5'' document concerns the whereabouts of a Lt. Duhamel. Expected folds and tape remnants, else very good condition.
