Franklin D. Roosevelt typed letter signed as President, dated 23 September 1935. Composed upon White House stationery, Roosevelt writes to his family and close friends regarding his whereabouts during a trip to Panama. He even instructs them how much postage costs in the Canal Zone. Signed with his initials, ''FDR''. Letter measures 6.25'' x 9.25''. Folds and a few spots of discoloration, otherwise near fine.
