Thomas Edison signed copy of his biography, ''Boy's Life''. Also signed and inscribed by the book's author, William Meadowcraft. Meadowcraft was a confidant and colleague of Edison, therefore gaining personal insight into his life. Harper & Brothers: New York: 1921. Signed by Edison, ''Thomas A. Edison'' in black ink with his famous ''umbrella'' signature above Meadowcraft's inscription, which reads, ''To my esteemed friend, C.M. Riley, with kindest regards and good wishes, Wm H. Meadowcraft / December 3, 1925''. Also includes a second facsimile signature by Edison. In original blue cloth boards with an illustration of Edison to cover. Runs 360pp. Toning to pages and minor wear to board edges. Very good.
