Edward Gorey signed first limited edition of his first miniature book, ''The Eclectic Abecedarium'', one of the rarer 100 deluxe copies hand-colored by Gorey, with morocco edges, and housed in matching slipcase, of which only 80 were made available for sale. Signed by Gorey on the limitation page, where he notes that this is copy #73. Boston: Anne & David Bromer, 1983. Miniature hand-bound cloth book is illustrated by Gorey throughout, with additional hand-colored paper label on front of slipcover, bound in cloth of trailing ivy matching the book, which is edged in black morocco, with paper label on front. Book measures 1.375'' x 1.125'', housed in slipcover measuring 1.5'' x 1.25''. Slipcover ribbon no longer present, otherwise near fine.
