Edward Gorey original pen and ink artwork for ''The Haunted Looking Glass'', the 1959 collection of ghost stories personally chosen by Gorey. Illustration was used as the frontispiece, a partially-covered mirror reflecting back a ghostly apparition. Signed by Gorey in pencil at bottom, with book's titling part of illustration. Measures 4.25'' x 6.75'', framed to 7.375'' x 9.5''. Not examined out of frame, but appears near fine. With original receipt from the Gotham Book Mart.
