Acclaimed Hollywood costume designer Edith Head costume sketch signed. The 8-time Oscar winner draws a long-sleeved, ankle-length white dress with red polka dots and signs ''Edith Head'' to the lower right corner. Sketch is labeled by Head, ''Vera Miles / in / Beau James'' in pencil to the upper left. A pencil notation reading "Mansion" also appears along the right edge. Edith Head won more Academy Awards than any other woman in history for her costume designs. Single-page drawing measures 14'' x 17''. Irregular top edge from removal from a spiral binding. Near fine.
