In this sketch, a hayseed type fellow enthusiastically applauds at a black tie symphony; caption affixed to verso is torn off, but sketch is titled ''Hog Calling''. Signed ''Sheldon Mayer'' at bottom and on verso, with his Harlem, New York address also handwritten on verso. Sketch on flexible illustration board measures 7.875'' x 10.875''. Minute chewing to top and right edges, otherwise near fine condition. From the Sheldon Mayer estate.
