Original hand-drawn sketch by comic art legend Sheldon Mayer, circa early 1930s when the young Mayer was still a teenager. Sketch shows an artist putting a mustache on a lady in a cigarette billboard advertisement. Signed ''Sheldon Mayer'' at bottom, sketch on flexible illustration board measures approximately 8.625'' x 7.5'', with uneven edges. Light uniform toning, overall near fine condition.
