Dr. Seuss handwrites, ''Herewith: one cat, hatted, for Claire! / Dr. Seuss'' alongside the drawing in red and black felt-tip. Sketch measures approximately 1.5'' x 3.25''. Bound in illustrated cloth covers, book measures 6.125'' x 8.75''. Minor shelf wear and previous owner's name written to front pastedown. Very good condition. With JSA COA.
