Deke Slayton's vintage Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Omega Speedmaster professional wristwatch. Space-qualified, as indicated by the case back which is engraved: ''Flight Qualified by NASA For Manned Space Missions / The First Watch Worn on the Moon''. Stainless steel chronograph manual-wind watch has a black face with a Plexiglas crystal, and with a solid case back with anti-vibration and anti-magnetic dust cove, black tachymeter bezel and sub-dials, without date or day complications and is powered by a caliber 861-based movement. There appear to be tritium powered phosphorescent lumen on the hands and index markers of the watch. A two-tone stainless steel replacement wrist band is mounted on the watch. Near fine.
