Handwritten letter by an inmate at the Dachau concentration camp named Flak Stanislaus, dated 13 October 1940. German letter runs three pages and measures 5.75'' x 8.25''. Letter is written on official Dachau stationery, which lists rules of the camp, including the number of letters and lines per page allowed, and states ''Petition for release to the guards is useless'' and ''Visitation and telephone rights are not allowed.'' Verso of letter bears the stamped Dachau postmark. Light soiling and starting to separate along fold. Very good.
