Special Congressional invitation and program to the presidential inauguration of Harry Truman for his second term. Invitation to the 20 January 1949 ceremony is printed on card-style stationery, with two sheets tucked inside, one featuring a photo of Truman and the other of his Vice President Allen Barkley. Program provides special admittance information to the Capitol Building for Senators, Representatives, the President's Cabinet and the Supreme Court. 16pp. program measures 6'' x 9''. Cover features a blind stamped Presidential eagle and is bound by a red, white and blue ribbon. Faint soiling to covers, else fine. Accompanied by the envelope.
