Flag flown aboard the Columbia space shuttle mission STS-3 in March of 1982. The mission, piloted by Jack Lousma and C. Gordon Fullerton, was memorable for landing at the White Hands Space Harbor in Las Cruces, New Mexico due to flooding at its intended landing spot of Edwards Air Force Base. American flag was presented to NASA employee James T. Johnson, and is mounted on a certificate with a picture of the shuttle as well as the logo from the mission. Flag measures 5.75'' x 3.75''; certificate measures 11'' x 8.5''. Some discoloration to flag, else near fine.
