Original Charles Schulz hand-drawn ''Peanuts'' comic strip from 31 May 1962 featuring Snoopy and a family of birds who've nested on top of Snoopy's doghouse. With the mother bird off to find food, Snoopy is tasked with looking after the sleeping babies in this charming strip, with Snoopy lamenting, ''We grandparents always get stuck with doing the baby-sitting!''. In the early 1960s Schulz introduced various birds before the character of Woodstock joined the gang in 1967. Four panel strip has the United Feature Syndicate label on the third panel. Measures 28.875'' x 6.75''. Mounted to board with uniform toning, pinholes to top margins, and light discoloration in spots, overall in very good condition.
