Charles Lindbergh signed special presentation edition of ''The Spirit of St. Louis'', Lindbergh's Pulitzer Prize winning account of his successful attempt of the New York-Paris flight that had claimed the lives of six pilots before him. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1953. Boldly signed by Lindbergh in black fountain pen on the presentation page, ''Charles A. Lindbergh'', with number 473 noted in the limited edition. With illustrated endpapers and photos throughout, bound in publisher's red cloth boards with silver lettering, book measures 5.75'' x 8.5'' and runs 561pp. Exceptional, near fine condition.
