Charles Darwin autograph note signed ''C.D.'', as a postscript to his lawyer Thomas Salt. Docketing on verso dates the letter to 5 February 1868, with Darwin writing in full, ''P.S. I have written to this Horner to say that you will act for me, & therefore if you please, you can communicate direct with him. / C.D.'' Single page measures 5'' x 8''. Folds, and small hole to middle of page, not affecting text, overall very good plus condition.
