Carl Sandburg and co-author Paul Angle sign a limited first edition copy of their biography of Mary Lincoln. New York: Harcourt, Brace & Co.: 1932. The authors sign the limitation page, ''Carl Sandburg'' and ''Paul M. Angle''. The volume is numbered 14 of 260 signed copies. The biography follows the first lady from birth through death, with photos, including a very early photo of Abraham Lincoln, and other illustrations. The 357pp. book, rebound in 6.5'' x 9.5'' blue cloth boards, shows dampstaining to the front board and toning to the back board. The pages are in fine condition; many have not been cut.
